Office Co. Brooklyn

In 2021 the owners of the Walker Creek Office Park were approached to establish a coworking/shared office business centre. I was asked to take ownership of this project from inception to completion and operation.

This required meeting with the relevant stakeholders to establish the business model and conclude management agreements between the owners and service providers. From there we had to configure an optimal design mix to cater for the multitude of coworking demands. We approached a turnkey interior design and fit-out company with past experience in the coworking space to be our partner.

As this project is based on a specific business model, dedicated attention needed to be paid to cost control during construction. This required frequent meetings with the contractor and their estimator, reducing the amount of variation orders and avoiding any re-work on site.
